Femininity First

[ad_1]

This season, femininity is listed as the #1 factor in dressing up, you can either be the femme fatal, or the sweet girl will be present in every single outfit, always adapting to each person’s personality. The waist will still be our focal point, either with or without a belt. Applications like flowers and embellishments will also be present. Shades of smoke gray will be the principal color for this season that every woman will be wearing this season portraying an elegant and feminine silhouette.

This Fall-Winter collections, in general, presented model figures across the runway with classic looks altered in a peculiar way for a contemporary feeling; puffy sleeves, voluminous shoulders, one-shoulders, jumpsuits, high-waisted skirts, pleats, drapes and ruffled tops were among the favorite revamped classics.

Some designers opted for crunched skirts in different lengths, peacock feathers, leather and animal printed dresses. These are all creations made of flowy fabrics, with lace and other details that soften the woman’s image. Other colors seen on the runway are apple red, purple, peach, and pink; all these are obvious symbols of femininity.

While on the runway the models look ravishing thanks to the dramatic makeup and over the top hair do’s, don’t think that this is not possible to get away with on a daily basis. Lacroix, Givenchy and Karl Lagerfiel for Chanel featured the most dramatic shows on the runway.

If you aim for the more bohemian look, you can also make it feminine, try a ruffled skirt with a white romantic chiffon blouse, pair it up with some flats and a big handbag, don’t forget your bracelets and sunglasses to top it off.

What is more feminine than a woman wearing man’s clothing? There is nothing sexier than a woman with a long sleeve white button down shirt and nothing else. Some designer’s are reinventing tuxedo jackets and translating them for a feminine look, as well as trench coats and other jackets for this Fall-Winter season.

Dressing up is a therapy session for some women, wearing everything designed for a feminine look is like a reflection of a little girl playing dress up with her grandmother or mother. Looking for treasures inside a world of memories.

Femininity comes from within, and the inspiration for your goal can be found anywhere in your closet, as well as any store whether it can be in a retail store or a designer store. Also, in your closet you probably own a ruffled or feathered top you never thought you’d wear again, pair it up with a high waist skirt and stilettos for an elegant chic look. Film and literature also inspire designers looking for that iconic romantic femininity and trying to modernize it; Marie Antoinette and Juliet are among the favorite icons for feminine inspiration.

Remember clothes should always tell a story, so why not re-invent your own story with your own look and personality? It should be fun and always self-assuring your confidence is the brightest way to go.
