Window Display Marketing

There's a portion of your business where you can advertise your products and services, and it will not cost you a dime to do it. What portion of your business am I talking about? Well, I'm simply talking about window displays. A lot of business owners inalls do this proficiently, and you can do the same thing in your business.

If you do not have a manikin to pose for the items that you're selling, consider using a poster. Full color posters are a great way to attract attention to your store. But even if you're on a budget, you can hang up black and white posters that just might do the trick for you.

Have you ever seen an "open" or "closed" sign on the front of a store – or a list of times when the business is open? Well, in the same way, this is how you want to advertise via your window display. There's a Chinese restaurant in my city who now serves Japanese dishes. And the only way that I know about it is when I saw a black and white poster on their window stating the new Japanese dishes that they have, along with the prices.

I was sold instantly.

I love Japanese dishes because the cuisine is so flavorful. But back to my main point, I think you can pull off a window display that attracts people into your business. Have a brainstorming session with your staff to see what their opinions are, and then weigh them against some of the ideas that you have. Whatever seems better is the thing that you should implement right away in your business.

With this new form of advertising, you can expect to see an influx of brand new visitors coming to your website in a short period of time. You can attract these brand new visitors all via what you have in your windows display. If you sell clothes or jewelry, then a manikin could quite possibly have the best solution for you.

I would make it a point to go down and see a professional graphics artist to see if they can develop a catchy window poster for you. Tell them everything that you're looking for in a poster display, and also to include the times that you're opened and closed. A display like this will catch the eye of a passing visitor, and a lot of visitors like these will come into your store buy some of your products.

Once they buy, put them into your backend marketing funnel so that you can follow up on them with timely emails and offers sent to their homes – so that you can entice them to come and visit your business again.

This is all fairly simple to do but it all starts with you trying to implement the strategies proposed in this article. If you want to add another profit stream into your business, this would be a good place to start.

Plus, once you have your window display, you can use it for as long as you want – maybe even forever if you choose. This is a technique that is not going anywhere for a long, long time.

Hopefully you will use these tips to have the kind of success in your business than you can possibly handle. I hope you will implement these strategies so that you can become more profitable.

Good luck with using these tips to improve your sales and profits.
