Article Marketing is Dead – Shhh!

I've got some bad, bad news for all you internet marketers out there. Article marketing is dead. It used to work, but alas, now it's completely and everlastingly defunct. Which is really too bad, because I was making a ton of money off of article marketing. Now, I'll have to do something else, like pay for my traffic with PPC … Oh well!

(Here's the real truth! … Shhhhh!)

I do not know if you know me or not. There's no real reason you should. But I'm a very successful internet marketer, and I owe the majority of my success to various forms of article marketing. This makes sense, because other than being an internet marketer, I'm a well-paid copywriter.

I've used article marketing successfully to do basically two things. One: drive direct traffic to my sites. (I've got one single site that makes over $ 1,000 per month just from a bunch of article I wrote about a year and a half ago.) How sweet is that?) numerous backlinks.

Article marketing beats PPC hands down for two reasons. One: I do not have to pay up front for it. And two, the article sticks around and tend to generate traffic long after I've written it. (Or paid to have it written.) Without article marketing, I'm not sure I would even be in this gig.

So, I decided to write this article with this insane title and first paragraph just to throw everyone else off the scent, so to speak. You see, article marketing is anything but dead. It quite alive and doing very well for those of us who know how to use it. I'm just greedy, I guess. I do not want the competition, so I decided to spread around a little misinformation.

If you're getting into internet marketing, already in internet marketing and not seeing the results you want, or if you just want to add another profit center to your marketing efforts. I would highly recommend article marketing. You see, it has some great things going for it. For one, people get to "experience" you before they really commit. Do not you feel like you know me a little by now? You might not get as much traffic per unit time off of article marketing, but the traffic you get will be much better focused than either PPC or SEO.
