Nokia has launched its fifth generation of Communicator phones, Nokia E90. It is a top end enterprise focused device packed with impressive high end features. Features and functions
The phone has optimized keyboard control and the keys are shaped differently for clarity and the enter key is large and square. The lower part of Nokia E90 is heavier than the cover that means the device can be set the lid at any angle without overturning. The large screen provides clarity and sharpness and the anti-reflective coating makes it a pleasure to work even in direct sunlight. The wide screen display is optimized for web browsing, word processing and messaging. It is a wide 24 bit, 16.7 million color screen with resolution of 800 x 253 pixels and its dimensions are 90 x 40 mm and measuring 4″ diagonally it is one of the largest screens on a smartphone. Being one of the most advanced and fast mobile devices, Nokia E90 is powered by the advanced processor running at 330 MHZ. It supports all mobile technologies.
The keyboard
The professional looking keyboard is black with white letters and blue symbols. The application short cut buttons are separated from the QWERTY keyboard. The send button functions as ‘send to’ button also. The red ‘End’ button closes all active applications to switch to the standby screen. The external keyboard is slightly convex at the center. The zero key helps in switching between profiles and doubles up as the Edit button to highlight the text using the rocker key or to Copy or Paste text. A light sensor at the right side of the external display controls the backlighting of the keypad. The 5-way rocker is in the centre has a large black central button and a square like silver frame.
Camera
The 3.2 mega pixel camera is located at the backside of Nokia E90. It has auto focus and LED flash and two stereo speakers. The camera provides pictures of high quality digicam and videos of TV quality.
