Verseo EGlide Electrolysis Technology Review

[ad_1]

Traditional electrolysis systems are based on the technology in which an electric current is passed to the root of the hair in order to destroy it. When the root of the hair is destroyed the hair will not grow again and the skin will stay hair free and smooth. For this reason the only true permanent hair removal method approved by the FDA is the electrolysis hair removal. All other methods like lasers and IPL are permanent 'reduction' and not permanent hair removal solutions.

In the traditional electrolysis, the hair technician inserts a thin electric needle to each and every hair follicle, and sends a short electric current to the root, which destroys the hair root.

The main downside is that traditional electrolysis sessions take a lot of time to complete. Do upper lip or underarms hair removal session, may not be that long, but when it comes to larger skin surface areas like the back or legs, electrolysis is not a viable solution. It can take endless hours to complete a leg or back, and each session costs much.

The main three advantages for electrolysis is that:

  1. It is true permanent hair removal.
  2. It can be done on all skin colors (there is no risk of burns like dark skin with laser).
  3. It is safe for facial use (while laser & IPL are not).

The main down side of regular electrolysis is that it can take forever to complete larger skin areas and it is very difficult to be done alone, you usually need an electrolysis technician for such treatment.

The Verseo eGlide Roller uses a different kind of technology which is called galvanic electrolysis. In this technology the current is not used to reach the hair roots, it is used to cause a chemical reaction.

With the galvanic method a gel is placed on the treated area and is rubbed to the skin. The gel needs to reach and fill all the hair follicles. Then the Verso eGlide roller emits safe electrical energy that reacts with the special gel. This direct current to converters normal body salt and water in the follicle into a chemical compound capable of destroying the dermal papilla.

The dermal papilla is the foundation of hair growth at the base of the follicle, when this dermal papilla is destroyed the hair will not grow again.

Through this method the chemical reaction only occurs in the follicle and does not affect other skin areas. This method is safe for all skin colors and for facial usage too.

One other advantage of the galvanic electrolysis is that it is a faster treatment option, so like its name 'roller' the eGlide can cover larger skin areas at less time than regular hair by hair hunt with a needle.
